Wendy J

Wendy lives in Melbourne, Australia. She is a lawyer by day and a singer songwriter by night, working in the alternative folk/rock genre. She has remained deliberately focussed on songs she wants to write and perform, and values her independence.

‘Songwriting is something I’ve always done since I was a child, without even thinking about it. I don’t try to be fashionable or famous; I don’t much care for such things. My hope is that these songs reach people who like and relate to them.’  

Wendy has worked solo and with other musos over the years – this website contains a few of these old songs, but mainly has been set-up to release some new work as a solo artist. Wendy has her own studio in Melbourne, and her work is then mixed and mastered in London.
